Clayton Cavell Promoted to President of Paul Hanson Partners, a Division of Specialty Program Group, LLC

NAPA, CA, April 3, 2020 – Paul Hanson Partners (PHP) announces that Clayton Cavell has been promoted to President. Clayton will oversee and manage all daily operations of Paul Hanson Partners, and will continue to drive PHP’s core value proposition of providing excellence in customer service and risk management for the transportation industry.

Chris Treanor, President & CEO of Specialty Program Group, PHP’s parent company, states that, “Since joining Paul Hanson Partners over a year ago as Chief Relationship Officer, Clayton has continued to establish himself as an exceptional leader and an industry expert in the transportation insurance space, and has demonstrated a mastery of our business and operations. Clayton has built broad experience in several key areas of the insurance industry including legal and insurance claims management, transportation industry insurance brokerage, and sales team management. Prior to joining PHP, Clayton was Assistant Vice President of Programs at Protective Insurance. Clayton also has his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law practicing law prior to shifting his career to the transportation insurance industry in 2012. Since then, he has also obtained his Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
